  The cabin we stayed in is nice and clean with 2 floors, double bed upstair and twin beds down stair. Kitchen,fridge,microwave provided. We stayed for 3 nights. We had a good time trekking even though the second day was too windy and we couldn't go up to Fitz Roy. We had the last day with perfect weather.   We took a bus from El Calafate, and the bus dropped us in front of the hostel, 1 block from the hotel which was very convenient. Staffs were friendly, but the room was ordinary. There was nothing special about, but clean, had basic things. Hotel was located very close to the hiking path, so we were happy that we didn't have to walk much especially... wat mensen zeggen » after a big hike to see Mt. Fitz roy. - Staff was very friendly and helpful. They even picked us up from the bus station which saved us cab fare. Breakfast was good considering the price and especially when compared to other places we stayed at in Argentina. Rooms have heated floors, the hotel is located pretty much at the trail head for Fitz Roy which was nice

  No need to haul luggage through broken concrete sidewalks in 40 mph winds when this hotel with wonderful staff is just right across the street from the bus station - very comfortable stay, room was clean and warm. staff was great - very pleasant and helpful. right across the street from bus station was nice too.

  Staff was extremely helpful and nice. Seamlessly arranged for a transfer in the morning that made the tres lagos hike much easier and more interesting. Everything was clean and fresh, sheets were super comfortable. Very reasonable pricing for what you get. They even had a discount for the restaurant I was planning to go to anyway. Great restaurants close by. Use Las Lengas to leave Chalten, they pick you up at your place!

They helped with bus arrangements.They were informative about the trekking options in the area.. which brings us to its perfect location near the beginning of the trekking path to mount fitz roy.. also close to many restaurants, local pyb and trekking tools hiring shops. The hotel provides lunchboxes for hiking, one is enough for two people. Location is excellent halfway between two main trailheads, within five mins walk of most restaurants.

  Everything! The lady who runs this small business along with the restaurant is extremely nice and helpful. She does not speak much English, yet the communication is not difficult at all. She helped us out with the taxis, answered any questions we had about the town and provided us with extra comforters upon our request.   I was down with a cold and the staff (Ingrid, in particular) were very caring and helpful, bringing me hot tea and even lending me a scarf to keep warm. The owner Carlos came to pick us up from the bus station. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the in-house restaurant was excellent and great value for money. Only has 4 rooms so it's cozy and the breakfast was nice.
