We had a good time trekking even though the second day was too windy and we couldn't go up to Fitz Roy. We had the last day with perfect weather.   We took a bus from El Calafate, and the bus dropped us in front of the hostel, 1 block from the hotel which was very convenient. Staffs were friendly, but the room was ordinary. There was nothing special about, but clean, had basic things.   No need to haul luggage through broken concrete sidewalks in 40 mph winds when this hotel with wonderful staff is just right across the street from the bus station - very comfortable stay, room was clean and warm. staff was great - very pleasant and helpful. right across the street from bus station was nice too.

  Staff was extremely helpful and nice. Seamlessly arranged for a transfer in the morning that made the tres lagos hike much easier and more interesting.
