  Having normally called reviewers massive saddos looks like I'm becoming one of them, but I felt this place needed a helping hand from the "Oooh light coming through the door" "Ooohcreaky floorboard" bellends that have previously reviewed. It's a 15th Century inn, not a ruddy 2008 built Mercure. Personally my stay was great, food was hearty pub sc... cosa dice la gente » ram, pies, mash, lamb shank that kind of thing. Wine menu was extensive with varied pricing and I'd hazard a guess that the few ales weren't three bad - Stayed for a few nights on business as I was working locally in Shepton Mallet. The Dusthole was ideal in that it was within the budget I had been given for bed, breakfast and evening meal (a meagre £75 per night). The food was of a high standard, all locally sourced (not a Brakes Brothers/3663 lorry in sight!) and cooked to order on the premises. I particularly recommend the beef madras curry, cooked by the landlord to his own recipe using fresh spices. As I am diabetic I was able to choo
