Easy to get to and a short walk from the town centre albeit on a quite busy road (which didn't matter much as the room was soundproof enough and there was no disturbance). Well equipped and has everything you could expect to find in a B&B. Room was spotless clean and so was the bathroom. Good service at breakfast - quick and effective. Decent choice on the menu.

Staff so friendly. You were made to feel so welcome and everything was explained clearly. There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Everywhere was spotless. The breakfast was cooked to order and it was piping hot and so tasty. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends

The Mountsorrel is a good guest house which has easy access for both Loughborough & Leicester & nearby countryside. It is well maintained & decorated with most elements a visitor might need. The owners are friendly & helpful. The parking is good too.

Also reviewed the Appleby on TripAdvisor, but in summary, staff were really excellent, very efficient and friendly, breakfast was fabulous, room comfortable, clean and of good size. Great value for money. We didn't use the bar/restaurant but it looked very busy, it's clearly very popular. -
