Great location, warm comfortable rooms and can't say enough about the lovely couple that run the B&B. We were made to feel very welcome and received excellent friendly service. Couldn't recommend enough. Thanks so much for a very pleasant stay. :-) -

Was only there one night but it's a very comfortable place to stay, run by friendly hosts. They are in the process of renovating & when it's finished it should be sensational! Loved it. -
The welcome was good. I arrived in the evening and left by 0400 hours so cannot comment on much else.
I would recommend it.

This b and b is a great place to stay. A home from home. The room was spotless. The bed was so comfortable I did not want to get up! But getting up was worth it for the lovely breakfast that they provided. The evening I arrived, after a long journey I did not feel like driving out to find somewhere to eat. There is much to like about this B and B. The hosts offer a large room with a large and comfortable bed which looks gorgeous as you enter the room. Beautiful white bedspread with big luxiously thick towels neatly wrapped in ribbon. It is perfect! A lovely bathroom with the best shower and bath.
Breakfast is very generous and served on a beautifully laid table. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed their hospitality.

The room was lovely and spacious, comfortable and warm. As a sole traveller I had a twin room with settee and TV. The en suite bathroom was spacious with plenty of hot water. It felt like a home from home. Beautiful decor. Very close to town and all amenities. Friendly and helpful owners. I shall visit again when I am next

This was our first experience of a B&B rather than a hotel and we were extremely impressed. Old Ivy is a renovated 13th century building and it is finished beautifully.
Pat & Tim were very warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. They even left a card and chocolates in our room as it was our anniversary, which we really appreciated.
Breakfast was lovely.
We just wish we had been staying longer.
