We liked that we felt at home and our dog was made welcome. The breakfast was great food and loved fact we could say what time we would like to eat Bed really comfy and homemade biscuits and chocolate brownie was added bonus. Cate was clearly a people person, she was slightly eccentric which was endearing ( hope she doesn't mind me saying so ). She worked really hard to make sure we had everything we needed, even finding a recipe for hash browns for my husband Will definitely book again

Heating on all the time if required-especially good as we have a small child and it was very cold outside.

We stayed 3 nights at this delightful guest house set in the peaceful surroundings of Near Sawrey. Our hosts were very welcoming without being over bearing. The double room with en-suite facilities was spotless with a beautiful view over the wonderful countryside.

Very pretty cosy cottage .Nice touch when were asked if we would like a cup of tea lovely home made scones arrived plus tea on day 1 and delicious lemon drizzle cake on day 2.Breakfasts were yummy plenty of choice just for starters and the full" Cumbrian Breakfast" and Smoked Salmon and scrambled eggs, real tea in a teapot and ground coffee well what more can you say but excellent . Bedrooms lovely and warm and lots of nice touches .Definitely stay again .

Absolutey loved it here! The welcome from the owners was friendly and they came to greet us as soon as we pulled up in the car. We were offered tea and coffee and then shown around the b&b. Dean the owner also advised us of the places to visit around here and offered to reserve a table for us at the nearest pub. The breakfast in the morning wa

Dean and Steph are warm and welcoming. They helped us in getting around the Lake District and even offered to give us lifts to some places. Breakfast is large and delicious. Rooms are clean. For us who were traveling only by bus there is a bus stop just next to the cottage. Keswick is just 20 min away by bus. Keswick is a lovely peaceful little town. I highly recommend a lake tour by the boat. From Keswick it is easily to visit all the lake by bus.

Very warmefull place -
Really lovely place. Clean, warm room. Great breakfast served quickly. On street parking and a little tricky to see the sign on approach at night. Photograph doesn't do the place justice. Enjoyed my stay and will definitely book again next year. -

A very warm, clean and well equipped room. We brought our 'well-behaved' spaniel who loved the guesthouse and our host.
The cooked breakfast was excellant.
We were warmly welcomed, well fed and very well look after during our stay. We loved it!
And excellant value for money as well.
