Travelled specifically to Port Isaac to visit the 'Doc'! Big
Australian Doc Martin fans. Village was quaint and to make it even more
special, they were in the middle of filming the new series!!! The
proximity from The Longcross Hotel to the harbour was perfect. The short
drive gave you a real feel for the beautiful Cornwall countryside. As
for hotel itself, we found it to be excellent, if not a little
'quirky'! Had a very homely feel, meals were excellent and staff
very friendly. Can't speak fo

Everything! was one of the nicest places I had stayed in. staff couldn't do enough for you, the whole place including room was immaculately clean and well decorated. The food was out of this world. Mark and Max very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners. Room was large and comfortable, bathroom also large, lovely view of countryside from our room. Evenings in the bar were cosy and the locals who frequent the bar were also very friendly. Location great, very quiet and nearby lots of interesting places to see. -

Posto molto accogliente, camere spaziose(almeno le quadruple) sono depandance, bagno con doccia grande. Pub separato dalle camere, dove abbiamo usufruito dell'ottima cena (considerata la difficoltà nel raggiungere altri luoghi). Molto buone le "orange marmelade" assaggiate a colazione e successivamente acquistate. Colazione completa di tutto. -

I loved the location. We were well based for Padstow, Polzeath, Newquay, Port Isaac and King Arthurs Castle. The site is lovely and quiet and the swimming pool was warm. The Gold Caravan was spotless and had everything we could have needed. The onsite pub is only open from six however the food is lovely , generous sized portions. The childrens meals are especially good value.
