We have stayed in many many b and bs, and this was the best by far. Spacious, comfortable, fabulous food. Super friendly helpful owners, and a cat. Honour bar, lovely gardens, massage if you need it . Nothing to fault, everything to praise. -

Everything. Cool decor, kind, caring, genuine owners. Don't stay anywhere else!!! I especially liked that they didn't have Sky TV, or anything like that to take away from the beautiful setting. Cozy, cool sitting and eating areas. A greta place to relax and just get comfortable... Simon and Vanessa ROCK!!! -

We received a friendly welcome, the decor and art work were unusual and immaculate, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We discovered a beach called Lusty Glaze which was within easy walking distance of Bedlam House which was absolutely fantastic. The train journey from Exeter to Newquay was very scenic and really added to the whole experience.

The people that run the B&B were very friendly and helped with planning our days out as we had never been to this area. We had breakfast included which was great every morning, full English but there was other options I.e. cereal, toast etc. Location was perfect, we did drive mostly everywhere but everything was no longer than a 10 minute drive from the B&B. Chris and Sally were the perfect hosts, they are an extremely lovely couple. Our stay was made very comfortable, our room was cleaned daily and the breakfasts were second to none, the circular breakfast table encouraged all the residents to chat and get to know each other and exchange their views on places to visit and eat. In a good position near to the beach. The bedroom was nicely decorated and very homely. Chris & Sally were great host who made you feel welcome. The breakfast was excellent and sharing the breakfast table with the other guest was enjoyable this allowed you to get to know them and share knowledge and experience of Newquay and surrounding areas. We would highly recommend Cormorant House.

Absolutely beautiful-from the moment we arrived - before checkin time, although we were given our keys and Karenwas happy for us to use our rooms straight away! This is a small (three room) family friendly B&B. The rooms and bathrooms are new and look like you'd actually *want* to live there, the breakfast will be done exactly as you want it, the hosts are super friendly without being intrusive, the rooms have direct access to the back yard.

Everything - very friendly & welcoming hosts. Clean, large comfortable room and en suite, with large walk in shower. Bottled water & hot drink sachets + biscuits provided. Fantastic breakfast. Home made yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereals, toast & choice of cooked breakfast (inc fresh fish) every day. We were offered and advised on the local places of interest, which was very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay and would not hesitate to recommend Helstone House to others.
