This was our second stay at Dar Roumana and it probably won't be our last. Our dinner was fantastic; we'd come back again and again just to try more of Chef Vincent's creations but the Dar is also beautiful and the staff is always incredibly helpful and welcoming! -

What a great place! We too were upgraded to a larger room because the hotel was not full. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights and couldn't be happier. We were 2 couples and we reserved suite amina, but since Hotel wasn't full they upgraded us to 2 beautiful and confortable bedrooms (with great bathroom) in a house just in front of the main building, witch had all facilities corresponding to the main building including wireless wich worked very well!
Location is near Bab Guissa, wich is very convenient if you have a car, since you can leave it in the park (not free) just outside medina and walk just a bit

The friendlyness of the staff is incredible. I have never before experienced a warmness like this before, as if you are coming home with friends. My friend was sick wenn we arrived and was taken care of immediately. Sakina and Hussein bought him medication, for which they did not want to get any money. They boiled him rice and did not charge, etc. These are lovely people. And the Riad is a nice place. An oasis of calm in the hectic of a Moroccan city.

decorated and furnished with all the care and comfort you would expect.
Stunningly and expertly refurbished. Breakfast on the roof terrace (in
summer) was delightful both for location and the actual breakfast.
Centrally located in Fes this is an oasis of calm. Don't be put off
by anyone saying you shouldn't stay in the Medina. It is safe and

The Riad is beautiful and traditional. The owner Said spent so much time and efforts to renovate and decorate this beautiful Riad. Every corner worth taking pictures. Beautiful traditional Moroccan riad. There are open terrace on the roof, which is bit higher than other buildings around, so you can enjoy the view.
All rooms are decorated in individual, original way with different paintings. Some rooms have only a window to internal yard, which is very nice. On the first floor there are rest area with sofas, guide books and other travel materials.
The owner is French and speaks English perfectly. He is very friendly and attentive to the guests.
