The owner Reibal and his staff were absolutely the best among all the riads we stayed at during our two-wk trip through Morocco. Welcome, Welcome, that's the word that you hear the most in this Riad, but it's not just a word because Kacem and his team really do make you feel at home and part of their family.
Nothing was too much trouble for Kacem, from booking the airport taxi to providing us with guide maps and giving endless advice, what a nice man!!.

We were picked up at the hotel by a driver sent by the hotel- very
friendly and spoke some english. Hotel manager, Kasem, also spoke
english and was very friendly and accommodating. We had the best mint
tea and delicious food prepared by the charming Fatima. We would go back
again just to see her! Armond, the hotel assistant, was kind and
helpful. The hotel also arranged for Nadia, a guide, to help us navigate

I live 75% of my life in hotel and I have never before walk up to a more
friendly and involved in the customer's needs staff. It really felt
like home. It is located in the heart of the Riad which opens a new
window on the real Moroccan culture. I enjoyed my stay and I would

Well located in the heart of the Medina, we found the suite to be roomy
and sunny and provided a very enjoyable 4 day stay.
We were met at the train station and delivered to the riad quickly and efficiently for a small fee. Our hosts Alex and Yasmine were very welcoming and informative and our room was ready for our late night arrival.

The Riad Le Calife is a wonderful experience, from the gracious welcome and the comfortable check in (with its mint tea), through the delightful rooms, garden, terraces, to the wonderful meals. You could not stay in a better place in Fes, in Morroco, or in North Africa. The staff and hosts are helpful, charming, engaging, informative, and happy. We arrived as strangers and left as friends.

Ottimo, sicuramente il miglior Riad tra I cinque (tutti molto belli),
visitati durante il nostro viaggio in Marocco. Edificio bellissimo,
posizione perfetta, staff stupendo, camera un paradiso, colazione da

The ryad is absolutely beautiful and a peaceful oasis from the madness of the medina just outside. The staff were wonderful, and the owner was very helpful in giving us advice on enjoying our stay. The Ryad Salama is as perfect as it gets, beautiful location, garden
with peaceful fountain and gorgeous Moroccan decor, beautifully
appointed rooms, amazingly talented and hands on owner who is also a
gourmet chef, who made my wife and I the most amazing 5 course dinners
each night. We can't rave about our experience there enough! Hats
off to Michel, an extremely hard-working owner who makes it all seem
effortless!!!!
