    Nice location, just besides the water bus stop.The streets in Venice are so complicated that makes you easy to get lost, but the Pensione Guerrato is very easy to find. The staff are very kind, rooms are clean. We live in the top floor and from the window there you can see the bell tower in St. Marco square. There is also a fruits market downstair... cosa dice la gente » s. - The staff were very attentive and kind and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The baby bed was perfect and the room itself was comfortable and very clean. The pensione is great value for money and ideally situated near the Rialto bridge.

    Service, service, service! I thought this hotel was a little pricey for what we got (room-wise), but the service was outstanding. I can honestly say that the coffee & croissants they served were the BEST I've ever tasted, and that includes in Paris. Really felt very welcomed and appreciated as a guest. We were g - Casa Petrarca was a wonderful place to stay in beautiful Venezia! The location is hard to beat in my opinion, less that 5 minutes to Piazza San Marco, 10 minutes to the Rialto bridge. The room was small but very comfortable and clean, though next time we would probably opt for a room with a ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit, amazing croissants, assorted meats and cheese, yogurt etc., and the dining room is so picturesque, above a canal. The owners were so friendly a

    a lovely gentleman from reception desk greeted us when we arrived by coming downstairs and carrying our heavy luggage upstairs to second floor, then gave us a great overview of Venice and helped with directions and how to get around. Breakfast resto just around the corner was in lovely setting to watch everyone going off to work...I w - I like the location - it's less than 10 mins walk from the train station. It's also surrounded by good restaurants (incidentally, a very good one just next to the hotel). The room was clean and had an attached bathroom. The aircon was working nicely - no weird smells. If you have a huge luggage, I hope you have strong arms because the narrow stairwell requires you to hold the luggage in front or behind you.
