  B&B is located on the outskirts of La Maddalena beach-side village, so one should consider having a car to move around. Having a car, or catching an ARST bus, it easy to travel to nearby beaches, or to Cagliari. The owner, Pasqualle, was utterly friendly and helpful. So was rest of staff, though not English-speaking. Gentarrubia itself is a very nice, clean bed & breakfast in Capoterra. The breakfast was really good as well. Overall a very nice experience, we would return with a car for sure.

The room was absolutely beautiful with the comfort of a 4* hotel (air conditioning, mattress very comfortable, italian shower, samples in the bathroom), with a big terrace. The swimming poll was very clean with sunbath chairs & transats.   Well equipped and furnished spotlessly clean room in a secure and secluded environment just on the outskirts of Alghero. As well as a full size fridge in the room there was also a patio table and chairs to sit out in the beautiful surroundings of the working olive grove in which the accomodation is sited. The hotel has obviously taken notice of previous complaints about it not being clearly signed as there is now a large sign at the entrance which is well lit at night.

  Stayed here for 1 night when returning from Cagliari and needing to fly out of Fertilia Airport the next morning. Hotel is on beautiful grounds that are very well kept. I believe it is part of a golf club. We had a warm welcome and shown to our rooms after checking in. The rooms are basic but serviceable. All in all it was good value for m - The family run hotel/B&B was friendly, helpfull and hospitable. The hotel is very clean, we enjoyed the swimming pool. Their daughter is studying Russian which was great for us, her mother is originally from England and her husband from Sardinia so we had no communications problems which is unusual for a small hotel. We were only sorry our stay was so short and will definitely return.
