The hotel was nicely located and easy to get to by cab. You were able to get dropped off right in front of the hotel by car. If you come by boat, you would need to take the steep walk up to the hotel, though porters are readily available to take your luggage. This Family owned Villa Hotel is a gem of Positano. We were extremely please with our stay in this wonderful place, Mr Antonio made the stay fresh, exciting, welcoming and warm. He was very helpful and full of recommendations and advice. He even noticed that it was my birthday on the second day of stay and sent a very nice champagne with compliments that made the stay memorable.

The staff at the Marincanto were just too amazing... Right from check-in .. To the lady who got the luggage to the room.. To the pool attendant Gianni ... To the front desk staff at check out...all super super hospitable..!! They went out of their way to make me feel at home..!!!

Great value for this area, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G views, 15-minute walk into Positano, so a little away from all the crowds and noise, wide variety of foods provided for Continental breakfast, the owner Felice Murano, is an accomplished chef and will prepare deliciously simple Italian foid for dinner on request, a quiet beach and 'Path of the Gods' close by, the staff are courteous, accomodating of my needs and very helpful.

The view from our room (we had one balcony and a terrace) was AMAZING! The location of the hotel was perfect for Positano. We were very glad that we were not staying at any hotel on the upper side of the town since transportation within Positano can be challenging. A bit pricey but definitely worth the money. Perfect for honeymoon couples.
