Having arrived late on a ferry into Heraklion, we were warmly welcomed by Yannis into his hotel with pizza and beers. From then on Yannis continued to be extremely friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is meticulously clean with excellent facilities. Barbara Studios is strategically located in the old town. Minutes away
from restaurants, bars, clubs, shops, fort, town centre, and the old
port. 15 minutes walk from the Rethymno bus station, beach. Really,
there's no need for a pool when you are in Crete. Panos, Iro and
their cute (quiet) pet dog will make you feel at home instantly. Arrived
at 11pm and they were still hospitable as ever. I was greeted with
smiles and was offered advice on food options. My room was cute, quiet,

Nuovo, piccolo, delizioso boutique hotel a gestione familiare (fratello e sorella) in prossimità del l'antico quartiere della città. Posizione perfetta anche per chi arriva in auto visto la facilità di arrivare e di parcheggiare vicinissimo. Consiglio vivamente di farci la colazione che è ottima, abbondante, con scelte inedite di dolce e salato e varia ogni giorno. Manolis è un ospite attento, gentilissimo e piacevole. Assolutamente da consigliare!!

Everything! We stayed in the maisonette and it fitted the bill
perfectly, all facilities provided. Our hostess went beyond the call
of duty and her staff could not have been more pleseant and obliging.
The location was perfect for us to explore the town without having to
walk miles and bearing in mind we were there for the Easter
celebrations we were in a fairly quiet area. Thank you Katerina,

Aloe apartments is a very nice place to stay, close to the old town where there are lots of shops and tavernas. The manager of the hotel Lefteris is a wonderful person who will always be glad to help you and give you good advice. The beach is just across the road and the supermarket is only 200 metres away.
