Highly recommended!! I liked everything about it! It's almost like I don't want to say too much because I was so positively surprised by how we were taken care of. I've never had a better hotel experience (even at fancy places), and it felt like staying with a nice Greek family. FYI: don't get a taxi at the port, but look for the Hotel Grotta van, they pick you up. Or you can simply walk a little ways away from the ferry (we came by ferry) and look up to your left. We were made very welcome by Katerina, the owner. She goes out of her way completely to make sure all your needs are met. Every day we were given something homemade, like lemonade, wine or pastries. The staff were exemplary and outstandingly hospitable. They helped with anything and everything and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is fabulous, only 6 rooms but real elegance permeates the whole building which has been lovingly restored. Would go back tomorrow - what a wonderful place. The breakfast choices were limitless, the beds so comfortable, no superlatives can describe this hotel adequately.

Great hotel in a lovely location, we loved watching the sunset each night. We were treated brilliantly with little treats making all the difference: strawberries, chocolate and champagne being left complimentarily for us and the staff were brilliant, coming all the way down the stairs just to help us with things like our sun umbrella!

Astra Suites exceeded our expectations. It's a beautiful romantic hotel with an amazing location and breath taking views. The staff were very friendly and generous.
