Highly recommended!! I liked everything about it! It's almost like I don't want to say too much because I was so positively surprised by how we were taken care of. I've never had a better hotel experience (even at fancy places), and it felt like staying with a nice Greek family. FYI: don't get a taxi at the port, but look for the Hotel Grotta van, they pick you up. Or you can simply walk a little ways away from the ferry (we came by ferry) and look up to your left. We recently spent 7 nights in the Kallisti suite at Aenaon Villas for our honeymoon. From the minute we arrived, Alexandra and George were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Perfect location, it takes you about 10 minutes to walk to Fira and even less to Oia. We stayed there with my boyfriend for a couple of days and literally walked through the entire island. Very good location, 10 min walk from buzzing Fira but much more quiet.
Excellent view of the caldera from the shared balcony. Kosmas, the
owner, is kind and very helpful. Very good value for money, considering
how much others charge for the view, if you are willing to share it.
Tip: If you are budget conscious get a room without a view. The ones
with the view just have a window anyway and the balcony is what makes
it worth it.

We were made very welcome by Katerina, the owner. She goes out of her way completely to make sure all your needs are met. Every day we were given something homemade, like lemonade, wine or pastries. You can feel and see the love that has been put into the place. The garden is lovely and a great place to sit and unwind after being out all day. The staff were exemplary and outstandingly hospitable. They helped with anything and everything and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is fabulous, only 6 rooms but real elegance permeates the whole building which has been lovingly restored. Would go back tomorrow - what a wonderful place. The breakfast choices were limitless, the beds so comfortable, no superlatives can describe this hotel adequately.
