We came to visit Santorini at its last days of tourist season (end of October) and decided to stay in Oia as it's considered the most beautiful town of Santorini, although it's a little further out compare with Fira. We were lucky to stay at Rimida Villas, it located outskirt of Oia, with a view of the whole town, we had seen a great sunset right outside our door one evening. Outside the city fuss this beautiful hidden place is excellent when you look for quiet and stunning environment. Car is essential as it would be anywhere in Mykonos for people who plan to see a bit more than a hotel pool. We were 2 couples and we wanted apartment with kitchen, to have breakfast on veranda. Casa del mar was perfect for that too! Pictures are the mirror of reality, we recommend definitely.

one of the words I would add is ritualistic. the area of oia is in general, but caldera villas allow visitors to feel that connection with nature, history, and raw simple goodness through its dialogues with the cliffs and human settlement. The decor, strategies in design, the food, the hospitality and flexibility of the staff etc. guarantee a wholesome stay.

Great hotel in a lovely location, we loved watching the sunset each night. We were treated brilliantly with little treats making all the difference: strawberries, chocolate and champagne being left complimentarily for us and the staff were brilliant, coming all the way down the stairs just to help us with things like our sun umbrella!

Astra Suites exceeded our expectations. It's a beautiful romantic hotel with an amazing location and breath taking views. The staff were very friendly and generous. George, the manager , was extremely helpful and serviced us in the best way possible. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the beautiful Island.

Staff are absolutely amazing. Some of the nicest, most helpful hotel staff I have ever come across. Everything from your arrival to your check out is perfect. Quiet hotel which is perfect for relaxation. Food is pricey but some of the best food I have ever had.

Location at a nice beach. Great room with comfy bed, recently renovated hotel. Breakfast excellent, bar/beach good atmosphere.
Easily able to get to Mykonos town by the local bus that goes every 30 mins, and easy walk to a few shops and restaurants.
Cool atmosphere in the afternoons as the dj cranks up the music and people hang out on the beach. Great spot for couples.
