We particularly loved the food which was delicious for breakfast and dinnerthe three nights we stayed, everything freshly prepared with homemade jams, bread etc. and vegetables and herbs from the gardens. Our room was very comfortable with the facility to make coffee and watch the mountains, so relaxing! It is perfect place to walk, eat and relax. Zaros just a two minute drive away if you need supermarket or bank.

I rarely take the time to write reviews but Megaron was so exceptional that I felt compelled to comment. The service, room, breakfast buffet are extraordinary! It's the first all-female run 5-star hotel I've stayed in from manager, dining maitre d' to porters. We stayed at the Happy Cretan for three nights and the only bad thing I have to say is that we didn't have more time there. The hotel setting was absolutely gorgeous!
