  Elounda Mare is perfection. We absolutely love this place and will definitely be back. Our room had beautiful views and was very spacious and very clean. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. After travelling all day we arrived quite late so the complimentary glass of champagne was very much appreciated as was the fruit basket in our room.   The staff were so welcoming , particularly Georgos , and the welcome meeting with free glass of champagne and smoked salmon blinis was a really nice touch . We were upgraded and our room was lovely with fabulous view to spinalonga and hot tub on the balcony . Another very nice touch was free bottle of very good quality Cretan red wine .   We are a large family, 2 parents and 5 children, and just got back from Elounda Gulf Villas. We had a dreamy vacation that will be remembered. The place is beautiful and easy going, the people are amazing and even the other guests we encountered with were super nice. Amazing facilities truly felt special and vip with their excellent customer service. Will defiantly come back again! Recommend getting Half-Board as the food at the restaurant is well worth every euro spent!
