  Arrived at Hotel to be met by friendly, helpful receptionist. Rooms large and comfortable. The hotel is situated next to river amongst histroic buildings. I had dinner in restaurant which was excellent with helpful but not over bearing waiter.   What a great little place! Don't be put off by the plain exterior, inside is a wonderful, warm welcoming house with great hosts and fine furnishings. Our room was lovely, with lots of space and a great bathroom. A little gem. - Very friendly welcome. Extremely comfortable rooms. Well situated for Rochefort town centre.
