  The location of the stay was perfect: a quiet town with a very short stroll to restaurant and also incredible woodcarvers workshop. It was a few minutes drive the one end of the Route De Vin and a perfect place to start out and end up. The hotel was very comfortable and felt like home. The owners are wonderful!   Love the Alsace and all the really cute villages that appear to have stopped in time. Colorful, half-timbered medieval houses often with stork nests on top! Lots to do in the region and this hotel is well- located above Ribeauville and its scenic center. Also close to some nice hiking in the area and biking from village to village. We were upgrad - This was our second trip to Clos St Vincent, and we returned because of the great time we had in July. It was actually a spur of the moment decision, due to an open weekend, and no plans. As it turned out, it was a great time to go, and we were fortunate there was a room, as it was the weekend of the Medieval Festival, and we got the only room left, a comfortable family room. We again brought our dogs, and enjoyed walking through the vinyards, now laden with bunches of nearly ripe grapes. Em
