  This was a beautiful spot only 5 minutes from the town Saint Emilion. Located in the middle of the vineyards. Our gite was perfectly clean and the pool facilities were excellent. Breakfast each morning was fabulous with the homemade marmalades made by Myriam and Claude.   I had been to St Emilion many years before and knew I wanted to return. It felt like a bit of a crap shoot when I booked this hotel (there are not a lot of choices within the town limits). What a pleasant surprise. The hotel is conveniently located near a main entrance to town so available parking is very close. The town is pretty quiet at night but even so, we could have our windows open and not hear people caro - We booked the 3rd floor Imperial Suite that was very well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, cooktop and all the necessary dishes etc for an extended stay. We were only there 2 days and really didn't need all those amenities, but if you wanted to spend several days wine tasting and seeing the area. It is the place to be. Walk out the front door and the entire town of Saint Emilion is at your feet. Bed and pillows were comfortable and everything was impeccably clean. Room came with petit dejen

Located at a very short distance from the town of St Emilion itself (practical to have a car), it is set in the middle of vineyards and is itself a classified building. The rooms themselves are excellent, beautiful, clean, each one individually decorated, and with excellent facilities (cupboar - We spent 2 nights in this chateau and were very happy with everything: the room was beautifully decorated and very clean with the big bathroom and a comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Natasha gave us excellent dinner recommendations, some of which came with the complementary glasses of wine. Loved our stay!
