The chateau dates back over 300 years, but has been very tastefully updated, maintaining the historical nature while adding wonderful amenities. Spacious suites (3 rooms)--the bathroom and bedroom were to die for. The breakfast was very sumptuous with homemade breads, jams, and jogurt, plus cheese, cold meats, fruit, etc. M Bernard was an extremely gracious and helpful host. We would come back in a moment !! This B&B is housed in a traditional home, but has been completely rennovated to create a modern, 3 room B&B. The kitchen / dining area is clean, large and modern. The village was very quiet, with very few options for dinne - Valerie was extremely welcoming and I felt very well looked-after. The rooms and public spaces (including a large lounge area for guests) are immaculate and stylish, with thoughful touches, and I really didn't want to get out of bed! Breakfast in the very striking kitchen was fresh and plentiful. It was fascinating to stay on a working winery, in the heart of a pretty village, and to see its day to day work going on.
