  Great boutique hotel in a delightful village; owners are fantastic and breakfast was wonderful each morning. Homemade yogurts and jams; lots of bread and fresh fruit. Two excellent restaurants in the village a few minutes walk from the hotel. Village car park available within a 5 minute walk. Guesthouse is really clean and cosy (you feel like at home). Frog house (yes, they have many decorative frogs in there) is located in tiny charming village, so you have views with valleys, mountains and medieval buildings. What we loved the most is kindness of owners and their homemade breakfast. La colazione è curatissima (servita direttamente da loro) e abbondante. - When I booked this small little hotel I was already so excited, anticipating it to be one of the highlight hotels of our trip to southern France - already bummed that our plans would only let us stay 1 night - it was so like the pictures but much better in person - the attention to detail,the spacious size of the suites, the quality of the fabrics, the incredible eclectic collection of art enhancing every space- it is obviously a lifetime passion of theirs and it shows - and best of all they a - I only stayed for a day at the Maison du Frene and wish I could have stayed for a week! The place is magical, pictoresque yet design ... Fun deco, warm staff. The owner is such a fun and welcoming person. You just feel happy to be there. A real treat!
