The chateau was gorgeous, inside and out! The chateau sits on a river, just outside (5-10 min drive) of Saint-Emillion. We stayed in the Songe room, which was very cozy and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable. The whole room was a lavender color, with a gorgeous shower room that is located inside one of the cylinder parts of the chateau

I stayed three nights at the charming, centuries old Chateau de
Courtebotte. The family-owned chateau, about 12 km from Saint Emilion
and not far from Bordeaux, sits on the banks of the Dordogne River and
enjoys scenic river views. I had a large, comfortable room which was
tastefully decorated and included an immense bathroom with separate
bathtub and shower. A delicious breakfast included freshly baked
