  Right opposite stn, you could hardly miss your train! Convenient bar/cafe even if scruffy/dodgy - ok for male travellers or non fussy females as a small group. Room had everything necessary - VERY close to Chambery train / bus station. Rooms have been refurbished somewhat in recent years.

  We liked the position of the hotel, a short walk up the hill and you were in the city center. A short drive to lake Bourget. The size of the room was good and it was well equipped. - large one bedroom apartment. secure underground parking, location as just in the middle of the town.   Friendly welcome. We used the hotel as a stopover for skiing, perfect location for a short trip to the resort the next day. One family travelling with us arrived very late and still had a friendly and helpful welcome. Breakfast maybe a bit expensive but was a buffet so you could eat as much as you liked!   We really enjoyed the location of this hotel, it was very close to the slopes, shops, restaurants and lifts. When we had a mix up with our booking the hotel staff was helpful and easy to deal with. Also we found the rooms comfortable and nicely appointed. Provided you can ski, the hotel is perfect to ski in and out and access the entire 3 Valley ski area.
