It's amazing how the staff cares about you. The men that was on duty
when I checked-in gave me much more information about what to do than
the "office de Tourisme" (which main role should be this). I
got there before check in time but could take the room straight away.
Breakfast buffet varied and fair price. The day I was leaving, the staff

Robert at the reception desk is extremely helpful. He gave suggestions
for dinner, which was wonderful. He also gave us a simple photocopied
map of Metz and drew a walking trail highlighting must see spots. He
also directed us to the correct bus to visit our son at his study abroad
campus. This was very important as we speak no French and there were few
in the town that could converse in English. The room was large and
comfortable. The hotel is very convenient to the train station. Free

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel which is at the upper end of a 2*rating, but- - - - - - - breakfast was extra which moved the price to my 3* expectations.However,the hotel is in a very good location for the Christmas market and there is a free car park only 75 mtrs away. Overall it was a good weekend break. -

Location is good (just off the highway), staff was pleasant and helpful, rooms were good size and comfortable (though having a comforter that only fits one person was interesting, lucky they provide an extra, but still a bit odd). Breakfast was not extravagant, but was filling and appeared fresh. Pretty happy with the stay overall -

It was very handy to the station, a 10 minute walk to the city centre and handy to restaurants. We couldn't hear outside noise even though we were at the front on a very busy street. Parking was great. -

Location easy to find: follow signs to 'Centre'. Spacious parking on village square. Quiet room, nice balcony overlooking square. Would stay here again. -
