This B&B is quaint and sweet. Located just a few minutes from Metz, which is well worth the visit. The owner; Chantal, is delightful and very helpful, she did everything she could to ensure our stay was perfect, she even served home-made bread, jams, pastry, and fruit from her garden. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip.

Les Chambres de La Maxe is a lovely B and B very close to Metz. Chantal, the owner, is a charming hostess who runs an immaculate,very comfortable and beautifully set-up "chambres d'hote". Chantal is very welcoming, helpful and truly makes the visit a very special experience. We loved our stay with her and wished we could have stayed longer and definitely intend to return! Great value for the price! Breakfast is delicious! We highly recommend Les Chambres de LA Maxe!

I booked by accident on the wrong date (1 week). When we arrived after a long drive by car with our little children who were really tired, we noticed the wrong date. The owners then worked hard to make sure that we had a nice stay even though they didnt were prepared us. We really enjoyed our stay! The breakfast was amazing! -

This Country House is a gem. It is a bit off the beaten track but if you
don't mind driving a bit out of Verdun it is well worth the drive.

From the first welcome coffee to the warm, friendly farewell, we felt pampered in luxury surroundings and refreshingly spacious gardens. The Residence is close to the bakery, canal and small supermarket and the short walk to each is enjoyable. Further afield, are historic Verdun and the battlefield memorials of WW1. The proprietor of The Residence can assist with tourist information as well as being fluent in French, English, Dutch and German.
