We were given a warm welcome on our arrival at Au Nid des Thes. The hotel is situated on a pedestrian street in the small town and has easy access to shops and restaurants. The location in the centre of Brantome meant easy access to the wonderful canals, abbeye, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was a simple but very well done Continental with homemade preserves. Sandrine was very helpful and the room was large, well equipped and very clean. Excellent all round and we would stay there again.

We could not fault anything about Chambres d'Hôtes Couleurs du Temps. Luc is a wonderful host, and nothing is too much trouble for him. He gave us excellent advice on where to eat and what to see in and around Perigueux. We had the front room, which is large and very well equipped with high quality fittings. Luc delivers a tray with your breakfast

Luc was a lovely host and was at pains to provide us information about the town and area. The room was comfortable and full of character. The house was within 10 minutes walk of this lovely town centre. Breakfast was delivered to the room and was basically anything we asked for. Own kitchen area to enable tea/coffee etc making at any time of day or night.

Excellent value accommodation. Facilities good. Peaceful and quiet
countryside location. Visitors would need to have access to a
car/transport to stay there. We stayed for 1 week and quickly felt
at home. I recommend this accommodation if you are prepared to drive to

We stayed one night after a long drive and everything was perfect; instructions were good, old farmhouse with large room, cool and comfortable (it was 29 degrees during the day). Pleasant hosts, excellent advice about where to eat in Bergerac, excellent and relaxed breakfast.

Well Pascal made it for us. He was such a nice guy and great company,
not that he intruded at all. We learned more about French culture and
social life from Pascal than any guide book. Laurence, his wife, is just

We stayed for one night here on our way home from a holiday at this charming b&b and wish it was for longer. The room was enormous and restored to a very high level, the bed especially comfortable and shower fantastic. The whole house was full of character, peaceful and very conveniently located for the city centre.

An amazing 4 days in beautiful Cadouin. Eric and Luc are fantastic hosts and it felt like being welcomed into their home rather than staying in a hotel. Lovely breakfast in the dappled shade of the garden, stylish and comfortable bedrooms and surrounded by beautiful antiques. We couldn't have wished for more.

A great location and excellent value for money. A very rustic old town
and is reflected in the rooms but we didnt expect more. A bit of a hotch-

We had a great stay at this b&b. Gabrielle was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The location is fantastic, literally 2 minutes walk from the centre of the old town, yet just outside of it so you still get peace and quiet. Breakfast was always excellent and filling. Overall a fantastic little place.

Everything, especially the coffee at breakfast. The hostess was charming, pleasant and helpful. very posh, luxurious room. Terrific pool and all areas exceptionally clean. If you like 2nd. Empire you'll like this. -

George and Eduard were incredible hosts. From we the moment we drove up, we were made to feel very special. They helped us with our luggage, showed us to a beautiful room, ( with a fan!! A rarity and wonderful addition) , gave us a tour of the charming chateau and invited us to use the pool.
The breakfast, while not included, was really worth ever

If you like a luxurious night away in an enchanting chateau with
beautiful service and friendly owners, you should stay here. My stay
could not have been more pleasant, in all respects. The food was
delicious and not overpriced. The service was excellent, from start to
finish. The owner patiently answered my many questions before my stay.
The staff arranges for a taxi to pick you up at the train station, so
the fact that the chateau is a bit isolated does not make a difference

Charming Maria-Agnes made us feel welcome and her hospitality was 5 star. She serves a lavish breakfast in a wonderful setting both inside and out. Great value and lovely hostess! -

Lovely peaceful country setting. Comfortable,spacious, spotlessly clean room. Friendly,helpful owners. Felt like a guest in their home. Wonderful evening meal. Owners very willing to adapt to suit my difficult dietary requirements. Will definitely re-visit. -

A most charming hotel, beautifully designed and very chic! The furnishings and sanitaryware were of very high standard. Everything was spotless. Beautiful setting in the village of Cadouin. We were made to feel so at home and so welcome by Emmanuel and Rachid, the owners. 10 out of 10 for a wonderful stay!

Evetything- the room the location the hospitality. Cadouin is a pretty village at the heart of the Dordogne Noir region. The inn is as charming as its surroundings.
