Eventhough the exterior of the hotel doesn't look as nice, the rooms are very clean, nicely decorated with all updated amenities. The room is big and bathroom is spacious. The rate for this hotel is also very budget-friendly. Overall, we really enjoy our stay at hotel Italia. We will definately stay here again if we are in the area. -

... cosa dice la gente » stayed here for 1 night because we were travelling. The hotel is small and inside a residential area but being in a quiet area and able to park your car in front of the door was nice. The city centre is a 20 minute walk.

Exceptionally quiet location with la Loire at the bottom of the lovely large garden. Would be great to stay with dogs (which are accepted). Only a few minutes drive from Orleans centre. Staff very helpful and good breakfast. No restaurant Sunday evening but help from staff on where to eat locally, or trip into Centre.

The hotel was in a wonderful location right in the centre of Blois but with easy parking nearby. When we booked, the proprietor sent a personal email welcoming us and this was typical of the whole style of the hotel which was friendly, cheerful and welcoming. The hotel is in an old, very characterful building said to have belonged originally to the Dukes of Guise, and the owners have kept a lot of character while making sure that it is comfortable and modern where it needs to be. One of the friendliest places ever! The staff went out of their way to recommend places to eat, help us find our way, and find great things to do. Though the Mirabeau is indeed a hotel, it has all the warmth and friendliness of a very welcoming B&B!
