  A friendly family run manor house with the owner being very helpful but not 'in your face'. A quiet location but convenient for Bayeux and the Normandy region. The accommodation was quaint rustic French cottage type which added to the character of the place and the visit.   Posto un po' difficile da raggiungere ma molto accogliente, proprietari gentissimi e colazione molto variegata! - We stayed here for one night on our way back to Calais from the Vendee. It is in an ideal location, not far from Bayeux and the Normandy Beaches. We had the Comfort Double Room which was gorgeous, a really comfortable double four poster bed. The decor is very tasteful with a modern en-suite bathroom with shower and bath and fluffy towels. We we - Chambres d'Hotes le Clos de la Croix is a beautiful bed-and-breakfast in a small picturesque village of Carcagny. We were given a warmhearted welcome from the very beginning of our visit - the same feeling stayed throughout the whole visit. The hosts, Gilles and Michael (and beautiful dog Galopin) are just amazing personalities. The room we stayed was spacious and tidy, and we did have our own bathroom with shower and tub.
