Only 1.5 hours by TGV from Paris!

  The decor, the staff and the room facilities were excellent. Within easy walking distance of everything. It's just a pity that Mâcon itself is a little short on tourist attraction. We were "passing through" on our way from Italy to Cherbourg so were not unduly concerned. Our room was soundproofed and there was no problem with traffic noise as reported by others. Parking had been reserved for us as requested. There are excellent nearby restaurants sited on either side of the river bank and also friendly bars. The city shopping centre is also a few metres away.

  A very friendly hotel. Staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. They made room so we could park our car outside the hotel. We asked for a quiet room and were given one at the back of the hotel which was really quiet. The room was a nice size and had good quality fittings and furnishings which were aesthetically pleasing. Although hotel has no own parking, they offered to take bikes off car and store overnight on premisses. Parking was 5 min up the road. Clean, tastefull rooms and excellent value breakfast.
