  We felt comfortable and welcome as soon as we arrived at the hotel. There is not a large staff but they are very friendly and attentive. The evening meal was very good and breakfast was good and relaxed. The room was basic but the bed very comfortable. It is worth going for a weekend. - I suspect that many of the hotel's guest were, like us, stopping over on their way to or from uk given the location, which is well situated for both Calais and Boulogne. However, the staff could not have been more welcoming if we had been staying for a week. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable with satellite tv that had both French and English channels. We had an excellent meal in the busy restaurant that seemed to include a party of locals, which is always a good sign.
