Highly recommend you stay here in Albi. - What a charming, restful oasis in the middle of old Albi. We loved our room with a view of the cathedral and the newly renovated bathroom. The bed and pillows were heavenly. The mini frig had 2 chilled bottles of mineral water waiting for us and the continental breakfast was great. There are also complimentary tickets to the Tolouse Latrec Museum included with the room. You will not find a more helpful host or finer rooms in Albi!

  I loved the welcome and option to take the room or not even after booking it. The hotel and room were charming. The towels in the bathroom were fresh and fluffy, not often seen even in hotels with more stars. The room decoration was simple but with attention to detail. It is therefore surprising that the price is what is. The reason for the price is that some aspects of the rooms are slightly basic. Doesn't bother me, as if it were better I couldn't afford it. Albi is a beautiful city that is a delight to walk round.

While it is set up in the aim for young back packers and similar travelers, it was fine for the older flexible traveler. Good advice was given on where to eat even on a Monday night in a town where ... cosa dice la gente » many places were not open. 10 minutes easy walk from the old town, which has the twin delights, among other things, of an amazing brick built Cathedral with beautiful internal - The hotel is in a very good position close to the train station and not far from the centre of the town. The rooms were very spacious as was the bathroom , everything looked new and clean. Really grateful to the owner who recommended a day visit to Cordes-sur-ciel as I would have missed it otherwise.
