It is advertised as a 2 star Hotel, and that is precisely correct. This is a very good tourist class hotel. It is ideally situated for seeing Bordeaux, and represents excellent value for money. It is a bit thin walled, but again, for the price, I can not complain. I am often amused to read reviews written by unfair patrons, expecting 4 star facilit

Really straight forward hotel. Really easy access to Tram or walk into central Bordeaux. Staff friendly. Room clean :)
TIP - From the airport - Get the number 1 bus to Lycee Merignac and then Tram A to Jardin Botanique. Taxi cost us 54 euros. -

For my business trip, the location was perfect: close enough to the University of Bordeaux II Segalen. It was very easy to get there from the train station by the two trams (C and A) which goes through the old city. The tram stop is very close to the hotel.
The free breakfast was very good and the staff friendly.
The bedroom and bathroom were OK.

Overall we really liked our stay here. It's a very simple hotel, but has modern design, is well-maintained and everyone is friendly. Breakfast was great, very complete. The location is quite good, it's in a calm part of the town (at least in August) and within walking distance to the center. The car park was also very convenient and reasonably priced. Having free gummies and water in our room, plus croissants and coffee, was a nice touch!

I.Good location:
1) the hotel is very close to the rail station St.Jean, so you don`t have to carry a heavy suitcase and take any taxi (2 minutes on foot and you`re in the hotel)
2) Close to the city centre (7-10 minutes by tram or 30-40 minutes walk along a very nice river La Garonne)
3) Close to the supermarket Carrefour and different cafes

that takes you to the city center in 5 minutes. Clean room, friendly
staff and good breakfast for a French hotel. Refilled throughout the

when you stay up later.

The staff was very professional and friendly. They tried to help in every way possible...They even printed my boarding pass for the airport. The internet worked well except at very peak hours. Kitchen was a great addition. Even thought the reception was closed they had a way fr you to check in after hours.. I loved having a nice hot bath!
