person. I think two people would have been cramped - but for me it was

I read a lot of reviews before I decided on this hotel. I had a very quiet room - I was facing the courtyard/buildings so I had no noise from the street.

My french is limited but the staff was more than helpful in English. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Hotel was on a quiet side dstreet and the location was excellent; within walking distance to the Louvre, Rue de Rivoli and Bon Marche. Plenty of cafes and restaurants. -

We booked from a courtyard where our apartment had fallen through, in the very nice neighborhood where it and Chomel are located, t 8:30 p.m. Arrived at 8:40. The price was more than a hundred dollars a night less than the others in the area. The front desk person was wonderful. The rooms were small and a bit tired, but clean and the showers were hot with lots of pressure. Good internet.

The hotel was very good comparing to other hotels (more expensive then this one) where I stayed in Paris. Nice, modern facilities. The hotel was recent renovated and it is in very good shape. Nicely located on a quiet pedestrian street just off the Seine, across from Notre Dame. Awesome location. Air conditioning was great and quiet for sleeping. Lovely, newly remodeled room and bathroom with nice shower. They gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne on our arrival. The room is very small - but that's what you get in Paris if you don't pay a fortune. I would definitely stay there again.
