Food varies from good to excellent -
The hotel's setting with its grounds descending to the lake is sublime and a great place to retreat to.
Simple furnished rooms with comfortable beds assured a good night's rest.
The dining room has great views and features a triumphant hot drinks machine which strongly resembles a juke box, providing endless entertainment to bemused guests as it shakes and gurgles away merrily while preparing pretty good drinks.

Talloires is an excellent village for a 3-4 day stop close to the beach. The staff was very friendly and provided an excellent recommendation for hikes.The room had a great look over the Annecy lake. The resturant is great. -

It was perfect for our needs. Relaxed and friendly. Lovely location; even our non-lake-view (and therefore cheaper) room had a fine view. Perfect location on the lake,very comfortable rooms, great and friendly staff, great food, idyllic. Mountains all around and the lake, beautiful scenery. Great for hiking and biking, relaxing. The bigger town of Annecy is very close for more shopping and nightlife and restaurants.
