  A the end of a long journey being met by Christophe and ushered to the lovely swimming pool to cool off was wonderful. The chateau was beautiful in large gardens which were child friendly and boisterous boys were not curtailed in noisy and extensive games of hide and seek. We had supper on the beautiful terrace which was great including vegetables... cosa dice la gente » fresh from their gardens and they were very flexible with the children. We were able to truly relax as the children were off exploring while we ate b - We were only booked in overnight on our way to Calais from Carcassonne. We arrived after a 7 hour drive so a dip in the outdoor heated pool was a welcome and rejuvenating experience. The house is very romantic and charming and set in its own grounds so it is perfectly child friendly. Our hosts were extremely friendly and spoke perfect English. The rooms are beautifully decorated with comfy beds and luxury en suite bathroom. Breakfast was generous. In fact the place is so wonderfully appointed w
