Le Passage was excellent! I was somewhat nervous staying in carcassonne after reading online you should stay 1 night maximum but we ended up extending our stay! The apartment was excellent. Exceeded our expectations. The balcony is great and the view is spectacular. The space in the apt is great, but might be a bit tight for 6 adults as there is only 1 toilet (2 bathrooms). I would stay here again if I come to Carcassonne. -

This place is a box of delights wrapped in a plain paper wrapper. Driving down the street its easy to miss the sign over the door but when you ring the bell the double carriage doors open to reveal a real gem of period property with Simone, the smiling owner, pointing us to our secure parking spot. I love being in the medieval city and staying in sort of medieval dwelling though it has all comfort you can expect from the building like this. It's like being back to Middle Ages but with modern time features such as bathroom. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy breakfast (had to leave early), but ther are no doubts that eating breakfast in the small courtyard add something to overall experience.
