L'Oustal is a great place to stay and within a short walk to Bourges centre. We arrived on a very wet evening and was warmly greeted by Sophie, who gave us great information on Bourges and a map, which was great as we were only there for one night. Owner Sophie was a charming hostess who made us feel instantly at home. The whole house is beautifully decorated yet comfortable. Breakfast with all the guests around the same table also added to the relaxed, friendly feeling of staying in a French country home. We were offered the use of a couple of bicycles too which enabled us to enjoy the city and surrounds even more. A wonderful stay.

We had a great welcome by the very friendly and hospitable owners. Our room and bathroom was very large and comfortable. We were given a private piano recital in the beautiful theatre. The pool and breakfast were superb. We were escorted to a fantastic restaurant by the owner and introduced, where we had a the best meal of our two week holiday at a very reasonable cost. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners at the hotel and we loved the opulent décor and designer clutter! Bourges old city

I traveled through the town of Bourges last year abnd was so facinated by the old city that I wanted to return. I saw the hotel online and it sounded interesting. I reeived an email from the owners questioning if I realy wantted an appartment as that is what i had booked. They have both appartments for longer staying guests, and standard rooms

Receptionist and owner were both extremely helpful in suggesting things to see. The location is wonderful and parking is really secure. You must book to guarantee one of the limited spaces but there is plenty of free parking nearby. we stayed inLles Tours which is up a flight and a half of stairs not a problem for 63 year olds but bear in mind. Good breakfast delivered to room which made a nice change. The renovation has been done very well, and its a real treasure store but still good value an

Everything about the hotel has been arranged for the convenience of the guest, from the wifi connection to the breakfast layout. As examples of the quality of the hotel the shower had a Grohe thermostatic valve. Tissues and toilet paper are Kimberly Clark. Anyone planning to revive a hotel should stay there to see how it should be done! -

Our room was very comfortable, spacious and peaceful with cleverly designed layout making the most of the space available. The range of breakfast food and drink was good too. We would highly recommend this hotel.

A little more expensive than the normal stop over venue for a night but delivered on a room for 2 adults and 2 children (which seems difficult at some rival hotels) had the space, comfort and extra of a heated swimming pool and late check out to allow this to be enjoyed. A touch of luxury in the economy market. Thanks -

... cosa dice la gente » . Ideally located for us between ferry port (Ouistreham) and Lyon and close to the A71. Clean and quiet rooms were also comfortable. The pool was super and we enjoyed both restaurants outside the gates and breakfast was good. Convenient parking on site.

This is a well priced hotel, one of the best I've stayed in at under £50. Easy to reach from the autoroute, couple of restaurants within 2 mins walk. Pleasant and efficient staff. ComfortabIe room with free wifi. I didn't have breakfast (need real coffee in the morning) but it all looked OK. -

This was a luxurious one night stay for us. The owners are lovely and are suceeding in their endeavours to stay ahead of the competition. The location is excellent, easy walking distance to the centre where restuarants abound . Parking was free at the back of the hotel but watch for getting blocked in by other guests if u want an early departu

This is a gem of a small boutique hotel. The owners are a charming couple who made our stay particularly enjoyable. The attention to detail is outstanding. The rooms and the public areas are beautiful and breakfast was a delight.
