We had a friendly, informative welcome from our excellent host, Alain,
who spoke pretty well perfect English. We have precious little French
and there were another couple staying with whom we shared dinner and
breakfast. They had no English but we had wonderful interaction because
Alain and his wife shared the table and skilfully translated for us

great evening. Alain and his wife prepared a very high quality meal for
a very reasonable price. I commend any visitors to have at least one
meal -
We found Alan and his family very warm and friendly, We had called ahead of arriving to order an evening meal which was lovely.We ate with Alan and his wife who told us a lot about the local history and places to visit.
The room and facalities where excerllent and we both had a good nights sleep. In the morning the organic breakfast was delicious.
We would definitely stay again if we where in that area of France

L'Oree is a beautiful, modern b'n'b located in the countryside just outside Giverny. It is a 2 minute drive to Monet sites and 5 minutes to Vernon. M and M Werth are the owners; very accommodating. L'Oree de Giverny was a lovely B&B minutes from Monet's gardens in Giverny. Located by fast flowing river, we enjoyed the quiet and privacy. The village of Giverny can be very crowded during the day. We had a large bedroom and bath, with all the comforts of home. Our hosts the Werth's were very helpful and gave us good advice as to visiting the area and fixed a decious breakfast that featued local food. Visiting gardens was very special and our stay at L'Oree de Givery equally special!

Close to Giverny for Monet Garden visit. Very clean spacious room with nice garden. Owners were on holiday but Jacqui looked after us very well.We met her at the gate at 5pm punctually. Home made jams for bread and croissants for breakfast plus fruit and yoghurt. A lovely little complex with bikes available.

The location is perfect when you're travelling by car and if you are smart enough to deal with navigator there won't be any problem to find the place. A small hotel looks like your friends' countryhouse which makes it even more attractive and cozy. It is located not far from Seine river on a hill and the landscape around the place is quite picture

It would be difficult to find words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay at La Barriere Fleurie, the graciousness of our hosts and the beauty of the property and surrounding area. Our hosts went out of their way to show us kindness and give us the assistance we needed while staying in an unfamiliar area. La Barriere Fleurie is gorgeous and beautifully maintained. We are planning on returning as soon as possible!!
