Easy to find on a main road with free paring outside. We were warmly greeted at the door by the proprietor, who helped us carry our bags in and showed us to the room. The hotel has old features and a clean modern feel. We felt totally relaxed after a long drive as soon as we walked through the door. Our room was clean and fresh with wooden floors

The location was ideal for us. Not being in the centre of town it wasn't too hectic. Designer furniture and spotlessly clean. Our 2 night stay was very enjoyable. Staff were great and nothing too much trouble. We had the breakfast option and found it good value for money. Showers had decent pressure and plenty of hot water at 0930.
We had the comfort room which we later learnt is the budget small room. Fine for 2 nights if passing through but too small for longer stays. Minimal storage for two

Les Brises is an excellent base for a visit to La Rochelle. We had aroom with a sea view (an absolute must) which was wonderful. The viewwas stunning, and we slept with the french doors to the balcony open allnight so that we could enjoy the view of the harbour and the soothingbalmy breeze. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were well laid out, spacious and comfortable. The hotel was clean and well presented with a pretty garden to relax in and where you could also take breakfast in the covered out door dinning area. The hotel is very well situated for easy access to the shopping area and a short walk to the old harbor. Free

We are both entranced by the charming ambience of the hotel. It suited
our needs perfectly. The bedroom was large and lovely. The breakfast
room was decorated in a pale yellow , patterned china cups and saucers
took us back to a relaxed, gentle era. The rose garden and traditional
sculptures were enchanting too. What a perfect "retreat" after
enjoying the many things of interest in La Rochelle. We plan to return
to the same hotel next year.

Recently refurbished, this is a very comfortably hotel in a superb location. Just 60 seconds walk from the old port where you can see the three towers for which La Rochelle is aptly famous and just around the corner from the Rue Saint Jean du Perot where you can find a range of excellent restaurants.

What a gem!!!!!! Lovely friendly welcome. Beautiful, sparkling clean hotel. Very centrally located.Our bedroom overlooked a small private garden,with chairs and tables. Just so sweet! A real treat!!!!!! All members of staff were friendly and went out of their way to help and answer all our questions. Would highly recommend. A+++. Thank you all so much.

This was a very, very nice hotel indeed. Extremely comfortable and the design features were greatly appreciated. We would definitely want to stay at this hotel again if we came back to La Rochelle. It was also very convenient for everything that the town has to offer. -
Everyone was friendly and efficient, from check-in right until our departure.

Very good buffet breakfast which included scrambled egg and bacon as well as all the other French delights.
