  I liked the quiet, friendly and relaxed atmosphere in pleasant contrast to the rather hassly conditions in the town itself. All staff were professional and competent - and friendly. I was particularly touched to get a complimentary apple juice when for one day I was too unwell to go down for breakfast. Located within 5 minutes walk is the ferry service taking you to the east bank where you can enjoy the Souqs for some shopping and good local foods in Aswan. The front desk provides you with all the information you ask them and there is no hassle or attempt to sell you any ser - Location and staff make this a great hotel. The rooms are very clean and nice as well, flat screen tv, but it's the view over the Nile that makes it a dream. The staff really went out of their way to make our stay such a pleasant experience. They arranged trips for us to Abu Simble and an overnight trip on a Felucca. We felt very safe and welcome and the hotel never let us down, on the contrary.
