Located within 5 minutes walk is the ferry service taking you to the east bank where you can enjoy the Souqs for some shopping and good local foods in Aswan.   The staff was really kind and helpful every time I needed it. The room and the bathroom were clean and spacious. It was April but I did not feel like I needed the air conditioned even with the windows completely closed. The room has a view of the Nile (the hotel is in front of the feluccas stop point). The front desk provides you with all the information you ask them and there is no hassle or attempt to sell you any ser - Location and staff make this a great hotel. The rooms are very clean and nice as well, flat screen tv, but it's the view over the Nile that makes it a dream. The staff really went out of their way to make our stay such a pleasant experience. They arranged trips for us to Abu Simble and an overnight trip on a Felucca. We felt very safe and welcome and the hotel never let us down, on the contrary.
