We liked the mo - I and my family have been staying at the Carolyn Beach Motel every time when in the area since the early 1970's and have always loved it. The new owners have done a beautiful job renovating the facilities. The greet you and make you feel like a friend. The food was excellent, the room fantastic and I was in the first of the buildings, and the paths for a walk about are beautifully maintained. The breakfast was good for this type of hotel in Canada but don't expect the full breakfast you would get in the uk or Germany. - Loved that there was a pool and hot tub!   The Sword Best Western is a good hotel. there is a few buildings outside the main building. That gives it a hotel-motel feel. This is a good thing. We prefer those rooms. They are kept spotless clean. They even have "clean remotes". I have never seen this at any other hotel. It is very helpful if you have a pet. There is a space where you can walk/exersise your pet behind the hotel, but it is not a dog designated area. My dog is very active and needs to run before going to bed, so I was glad.
