The women working on the front desk and the house cleaning staff were very helpful. They helped us install a raised toilet seat after my husband's surgery. The meal we had in the restaurant was excellent. I loved the walking path behind the hotel and the gorgeous view from our room. The hot tub and pool facilities were fantastic Many thanks!.

The friendly staff Felt safe and secure No hassles or mistakes at the sign in or out desk...all done quickly Good breakfast presentation and warm foods...good supply...great staff...friendly maps for local activites easily accessable. Location overlooking Bay of Quinte with balcony, friendly, helpful staff, pool, sauna, roast beef dinner buffet, breakfast buffet, lots of parking, good location to area where we put our boat in (fishing weekend), in-room amenities. I loved that the hotel has 2 swimming pools, indoor and outdoor and a sauna, the rooms were comfortable and good size, friendly staff. Nice amenities, and the location was perfect, close to the lake, I would stay here again. The manager, Shaun Wilson, was exceptional. He was helpful, funny, knowledgeable and made us feel like our stay was important to him. Would recommend Shawn highly. -fairly comfortable bed -mostly updated rooms and common areas -good meal at the restaurant -nice view and good location near the water and trails. The room, the view, the facilities, location, the beds, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, slide, etc. The view was beautiful, the balcony was great, and the bed was very comfortable. The respectful and friendly nature of the staff. it was a nice hotel. Met all of our needs. Clean, friendly and pleasant stay. Beautiful setting and good meals. Pools. Staff friendly. Pools. I like the fact that the hotel was clean. rooms were clean. No complaints. Entrance sign lacking defined location as building somewhat hidden from road. Banquet food not inspiring to return Friday evening a bigger banquet hall would be nice. Elevator quite slow Large grass area not encouraging to walk...needs pathways and benches, and water edge walkway fixed. Our booking (from March) was lost and this could have been a disaster as we were told there was a room available on the Friday night, but not on Saturday. We were there for a weekend fishing derby. My son was able to get into my home computer from his phone and was able to retrieve our booking confirmation. This was definitely an upset and not a good way to start our weekend. I wanted to use the coffee machine in the room but noticed that the plastic filter where you put the paper filter was really dirty. it look like it had never been washed! I wanted to make tea not coffee, so the water would have to go through that dirty filter, so I prefered not to use it. The toilet overflowed:(. -proximity to conference/event floor led to numerous loud wedding guests on our floor who partied late into the evening - not necessarily something the hotel can control, but I probably would not stay here again due to the likelihood of this happening -loud families using the pool at 7:30 a.m. (there must be a way to prevent their entrance until a reasonable hour!). Plugged Toilet!!!. It would have been nice if a Continental breakfast was included. The unfriendly and temperamental nature of the 'ice machine'. the bathroom could be fixed up. Only issue was the bath tub, I think they were putting some non slip finish on. The tub was refinished, but some of the finish had come off. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in our room. Noise from other guests always seem bad here, too bad. Poorly telling you how to get there. Closet doors need repairs. In both rooms we were in. Some pats...doges made my kids sceared Rooms should be cleaned dAily specially if there is kids... We didn't like that our room smelled of Lysol and a chair that we sat on when we were at our computer was wet. The elevators were not particularly clean. You could hear every sound in the next room and hallways. People in the next room were yelling and carrying on after 2 AM. It is overpriced in my opinion. Bathrooms need updating large group came in so restaurant closed to regular guests very inconvienient. Lobby, corridors, balcony, facade. Some towels seemed not cleaned.. found long length hairs in them. Passing through a cloud of smoke to enter the smoke free environment Lack of clear directions from front desk Awaken by trains Soiled toilet paper Restaurant is not user friendly Price difference. Horrible service, run-down facilities, key did not work, pools closed due to chemical problems, service in restaurant unbelievably slow, yet nobody there (wonder why!), staff snippy and anxious and quick to blame each other for problems. It was a seedy motel experience with a hotel price.
