This hotel and the proprietor are both absolutely charming. Carinne made us feel as though we were being welcomed into her own home. On arrival she gave us coffee and biscuits and a very helpful explanation of what Ieper had to offer. Our room was private, very quiet and very comfortable. I can not think of anything we didn't like. Carine , one of the owners is simply a very lovely person. She made us tea as soon as we arrived and spent ages chatting with her. Her chocolate cakes were delicious. Then she showed us to our room - the 'wild' one. I had seen the photos of it on the web site but they didn't do it justice. As soon as Carine left, having shown us how to work everything, we were straight into the bath!!. The snacks and the free mini bar were very welcome. The breakfast

The location is good as it is in a quiet rural area but close to the motorway. The owners were very welcoming and easy-going. All the food was locally sourced and cooked in-house and was very enjoyable. The building has been very carefully designed by the architect/owner. -

The hotel was clean and comfortable and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them, including arranging a battlefield tour for us. We had a substancial breakfast each morning which set us up for the day. The hotel was just a ten minute walk from the station and about the same to the city centre. Hoping to pay another visit in September.

this hotel is a MUST when you stay in the Roeselare area. You are in the quiet country side with easy access to all motorways. The room was unique in all aspects. Everything - location, staff, quality of food, peace and quiet, comfort. The owners are wonderful and cannot enough to make your stay the best possible. It was helpful that one of the owners is Scottish so there was no language problem. We'll definitely be returning here. Only one and a half hour's drive from Calais.
