  2 bedroom apartment was very spacious, well equipped with all facilities, clean & comfortable... great for a family. Quiet location, walking distance to city & great selection of restaurants. Secure parking and friendly staff all contributed to a great weekend's accommodation. This seems to be a rare thing these days because cleaning products are not used in every place that we have been to, some just use water and one cloth for everything.

  I travelled to Townsville with my 96 year old mother who is not very mobile. It was a big advantage to get room service. The meals were not expensive and were very good. I've stayed in other accommodation where the rooms were close to the lifts. The noise from the lifts interrupted my sleep.   Didn't know the Ridgemont existed until I found while searching on line, a little secluded but close to most things around the city. My wife and I had an upper level room for 2 nights, brilliant view, great to sit on balcony looking out over Strand and Maggie Island. Good value. Didn't get around to utilising the pool, spa or BBQ are but the - Proximity to The Strand, a credit to Townsville Council. Room was clean and neat. Gave us keys to two rooms to compare prior to checking in so we could see for ourselves which room was better. Great location and parking at door.
