  Everything about the Port Douglas Motel was excellent! The location was excellent, it was immaculately clean and the staff were exceptional. One of the best hotel/motel experiences I've had. Not to mention that the price was unbeatable! I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay there. - Loved this place! They say more than just a motel ... cosa dice la gente » and how true! Wonderful beds,clean and great staff! Couldn't believe the bad review and think it was some kind of sour grape! We didn't need a car it is so close to everything. Big thank you Port Douglas Motel!   Camera, colazione e staff - Friendly staff, willing to help poor Canadains who had never been toAustralia before. They were great. Thank you. - Proximity to the airport and other locations I neede to travel to. I was impressed with the way the reception staff handled an obnoxious client.

  Proximity to what we were down there for, access to public transport, beach playgrounds. Michelle (Relief Manager) could not do enough for us from the time of booking on the internet, the follow up emails prior to arrival, arranging transfers for us, all of this whilst dealing with a very personal family medical issue. It is a pleasu - It roomy for us, and we liked that We as an older couple liked the ground floor. I am not sure if you had a lift. Good walking distance to some facilities. e.g. Working mans club. Transport system good. Helpful management. Good nights sleep. We would stay there again.

  Facilities were excellent. Clean, spacious, all mod cons, fridge, microwave, cable tv, toaster, hairdryer, iron. Comfy bed, comfy couch, plenty of room to move around, table & chairs outside. Friendly staff. Knew when rooms were being cleaned between 9 and 11 so could go out then and know would come back to clean room. While it was fluorescent tube lighting it was much better than the trend towards dimly lit rooms that we seem to have experienced so often of late. Room was more than satisfactory for a short notice overnight stay Thanks.

  We would really want to thank the reception staff for their help! They have all been really friendly, helpful and professionnal! They booked us the Whitsundays Boat Tour litterally at the last moment (we had not thought of booking all that in advance) and they kindly kept our luggage and our car parked at their place for 3 days while we were away!... cosa dice la gente » They also helped us with our next hotel booking in Port Douglas (our next road trip stop). This Hotel is excellent! It's clean, confortable and nicel - All of the staff were extremely helpful and all requests for information were followed up efficiently and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. They allowed us to store our luggage on two occasions saving us the trouble of finding somewhere to store it whilst we went off on other adventures.. They made our stay in Arlie Beach a pleasure and we would strongly recommend this place to all travels for value and friendly service.

  Didn't know the Ridgemont existed until I found while searching on line, a little secluded but close to most things around the city. My wife and I had an upper level room for 2 nights, brilliant view, great to sit on balcony looking out over Strand and Maggie Island. Good value. Didn't get around to utilising the pool, spa or BBQ are but the - Proximity to The Strand, a credit to Townsville Council. Room was clean and neat. TV needs replacing soon, screen pixelating continually. Reception staff (owners ?) were very helpful with directions.
