Room are very clean & very modern with all the gadgets that u need , the king size bed was great and the lay out of the 1 brm was just great
Was great to just park the car in security parking. Had a great roof top swimming pool & gym.

Staff followed up with a phone call (which we appreciated) after check-out re our complaint of poor TV reception - advising he had changed the cable and the reception was now fine. We weren't aware we could contact staff re the TV reception (as we thought it would cost us a "call-out" fee) considering it was the weekend and the hotel reception wasn't manned. We were happy with the cost for the 2 night stay.

The location can't be beaten if you want to look at the city. We had
the trains and buses at the door and only a block away from Kurilpa
Pedestrian Bridge which gives access to the Southbank with only a 10 min
walk. Being right in the cbd was great and we enjoyed our evening views
over the street. Being on the 9th floor meant we were far enough aw

The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

Everything is perfectly clean. There is even no cobwebs on the carport, what is very unusual for Townsville. Perfect attention to detail regarding cleaning.

The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble from booking my
skydive for me to charging my phone when my charger broke. Tabitha and
Steve were such lovely people, I wish I had more time there. The
apartment was immaculate and really comfortable and there was a lovely
pool. It was also in a nice, quiet location very close to the Strand.

The staff were lovely, they had a great range of DVDs for free. The unit had everything you could possibly need and was very clean and comfortable. Tv had great cable channels. Right opposite a big shopping centre with Coles, reject shop, restaurants and fish and chips :o) loved it! -

Accomodation prices in & around Gladstone are still unrealistically high. The prices at Metro do not generally reflect this...we found the cost quite reasonable. -

We really enjoyed our stay here and didn't want to leave. Gail, the manager, was absolutely amazing and couldn't of done anymore for us. We were given so much advice about the local area, Cairns town center and all the tours. Gail the manager and the staff are very friendly and were so helpful to us, like suggesting places to visit and good day trips. A bus service is up the road, so it was very easy for us to get around. We will be back. The park is a pleasant location, with a swimming pool and bbq facilities. Our cabin was pleasant, spacious and great value for money. Very satisfied.

Celeste and Tim are the highlight of the Arcadia Guest House. Awesome couple. I had the opportunity to go back to Magnetic Island after my first visit and knew that i would go back to the Arcadia Guest House.
The facility has two kitchens fully equipped (if you are in a space without a kitchen), lots of space to hang out and relax with movies and books, a washing machine, the setting is very tropical with birds and all and it's directly across the street from the beach and just a short walk
